Second Annual Alley 33 Fashion Show

A lovely Portland evening in late July was again the setting of the Alley 33 Fashion Show. The show offers an opportunity for emerging designers to get their looks seen and is also unique because it features designers that are producing their lines right here in Portland, Oregon.

These new Jitterbuggin designs were inspired by 40's cruise wear and vacation ensembles. I had some very special guest models join me. Let's have a look and see what Jitterbuggin will be offering in the coming year!
The incomparable Twila Jean modeling a white nautical look including a sailor blouse and high-waist, wide-leg pants.

Suzannah Hamlin-Stanley (you know her from her inspiring DIY blog Adventures in Dressmaking) wore a beautiful green-hued bamboo print Hawaiian halter sarong dress.

An asymmetrical design lends itself perfectly to this rayon landscape print all the way from Hawaii! This dreamy fabric moves so nicely! I love how the detachable drape floats in the wind!

Summer Stone in a summery white day dress with a gathered sweetheart bust, contrasting Navy trim, and adorable shoulder ties. Look at that beautiful smile!!!

Solanah Cornell of Vixen Vintage wows the crowd with a 40's inspired lobster print bathing suit. I simply can't wait to get these made up for you!

What a cast I tell ya! An amazing job was done by all! Thank you Alley 33!

  1. Love the sailor suit and the bathing suit (though I would never have the guts to even attempt to pull off a bikini)! The girls all look great!
